The new logo and name for the newly created House of Representatives were all based on a black and white image.
The new House of Representative is named after the black and green stripes of the House of Lords, a symbol of the ancient English Parliament.
The House of Commons was the legislative body of England’s House of Tudor kings.
It was first established in 1665 when Henry VIII replaced the House which had been in existence since the 14th century.
The logo for the new House, which was first unveiled on March 4, is black and red.
The Senate is now named after a red shield with a red cross on the bottom.
