Daniel House says he keeps his head up.
The England striker, who has just scored his first international goal, has scored only once in his last five internationals and his international tally stands at eight.
But House, 26, has also become one of the most successful players in England’s history, winning three Premier League titles and the FA Cup in a row.
“I’ve had a fantastic career.
It’s been an incredible journey and I’ve had an amazing journey to be a professional footballer,” he told BBC Sport.”
There are so many positives, a lot of hard work, a great support network, and I feel blessed to have had this opportunity.”
House has not scored a hat-trick since December 2017, when he scored twice in the final day of the Premier League season against Liverpool, earning himself his first Premier League hat-share.
“The most important thing is that you play well,” he said.
“It doesn’t matter what you score or what you do in the team, you always want to win.”
If you play like that and you keep scoring goals, then you can have a really good season.
“House’s hat-tricks were his fourth in his career and his first since his debut against Manchester United in August.”
Sometimes when you score, people want to give you the hat-fool,” he added.”
But you just need to keep doing your job, keep scoring, keep playing well, and you’ll eventually get rewarded.
