Actress/producer Lily Tomlin has told a special edition of Good Morning America she and her husband are “totally shattered” after the horror hit HBO hit House of Lie dropped after one season.
“It’s been really hard,” Tomlin, who is reprising her role as wife Elizabeth Jennings, said of the series finale.
It’s been a very difficult time.”
Tomlin and her former husband, Jack, are also stars of the upcoming film, House of Cards.
“We’re totally devastated,” Tomlinson said of her character, Elizabeth Jennings.
“Elizabeth and Jack are my heroes.
They are my family.
We’ve done so much together.”
Tomlins and her co-star, John Lithgow, were at the ABC Studios in Culver City, California, this weekend to promote the film.
“He’s my best friend and I think he’ll make a good dad,” Tomlins said of Lithgow.
“So he’s gonna be a wonderful dad.”
House of liels is the third installment of the House and the Lake franchise.
It has been renewed for a fourth season in the United States and Canada.
The series, which was based on a true story, was adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by New York Times best-seller Stephen King.
The books series, about a family of drug addicts, is based on the true story of a young family who falls through the cracks of American society, and the trials of two family members.
It is produced by the writer/producers behind the upcoming movie, The Crown, and is co-produced by ABC Studios and Warner Bros. TV.
